CP01 Military Decorations and Awards: A favorite from encampment brought to wing conference! Learn more about historical military awards and decorations while examining them and hearing from an expert with a great sense of humor and a large knowledgebase. Intended audience: All members.
CP02 Promotion Review Board: This optional component of the Cadet Program is utilized by many units to help develop leadership in the Cadet Program. Find out the whys, hows, whos and whats from a successful unit program. Intended Audience: Phase III/IV cadets, CP Officers, Squadron Command elements.
CP03 Highway Patrol / DDR: Officer from the Missouri Highway Patrol will offer an engaging look at some of the dangers teens face. This program comes highly recommended from the students at Girl's State. All cadets at Wing Conference are welcome to attend. Also open to DDR officers, Squadron Command elements, CP officers, and parents.
CP04 Leadership Development: Learn more about the Four Phase Leadership Development program and how to implement it at the squadron, group, and wing levels. The focus is on Phase II, III, and IV leadership which is so often forgotten or skimmed over. Intended audience: CP Officers, Squadron Command elements.
CP 05 Leadership Toolbox: Ever wondered why you have to do or learn some of the stuff in the Cadet Program? Or perhaps you've wondered what you can do now to make yourself a better cadet officer later. This class explains what's going on behind the scenes with your training and how to prepare for the future. Intended Audience: Phase I/II cadets
CP 06 Cadet Programs Update: Come learn about exciting changes and updates to the Cadet Program, with a recap of what has gone on in the last year and what is coming up. C/Col Carr is currently working at the National level and is looking forward to sharing this news with you! Intended audience: Phase III and Phase IV cadets, CP officers, Squadron Command elements
CP07 Public Speaking: Learn some of the basics of this important skill. This will cover some of the requirements for the Cadet Program's promotion process for some grades. Intended audience: Phase I and II cadets.
ES01 Geospatial Information Interoperability Exploitation Portable (GIIEP) Overview: An overview how GIIEP works and has been employed recently, while also reviewing plans for the future. (1 ½ hour session)
ES02 ARGUS Automated Recon Geotagging-image Upload System: Back by popular demand, an overview of the ARGUS system and tricks to ensure successful upload of mission photos.
ES03 Airborne Photography: An introduction of using Airborne Photography in the mission environment. This session provides an overview of the program and discusses how-to and best practices.
ES04 Creating a SORTIE: A basic overview of the Sortie creation process in WMIRS, a must for pilots and ground team leaders.
PA01: Recruiting and Retention: An overview of recruiting and retention for the unit level. A discussion of best practices to get members and retain them.
PA02: Social Media in CAP: This session will cover what PAOs and commanders need to know to make these free delivery platforms work for their units and more importantly, what should be avoided at all costs.
IT01 CAP in the Clouds: An overview of the online resources available for units and members. An open discussion of what resources are required for use and those that will aid in the successful support of a unit.
SE01 Disaster/SAR Health Hazards: Recent disasters have caused rescuers to reconsider what training is needed regarding mission safety and health. Find out how you should be prepared to respond during SAR/DR/HLS operations and what resources are available. Intended audience: All members
HI01 History and Public Relations: A discussion of how history and public relations go hand and hand. Are you documenting your events, showing off previous activities? This discussion is intended to outline the importance of both topics in the organization.
FM01 Financial Management: This session is designed to discuss unit budget and financial management requirements for the unit. Intended for squadron commanders and finance officers.
